Diaphragm pulsation dampener with automatic pressure regulation
Characteristics of the auto-regulation diaphragm pulsation dampener
This model of the FLEXODAMP pulsation dampeners belongs to a range of conventionally designed dampeners. However, this FAO version provides and solves one of the major pending problems with many pulsation dampeners: The correct operation of the pulsation dampener regardless of the working pressure of the pump.
With this design, manual adjustment of the air chamber pressure is not necessary since this is permanently connected to the compressed air line and allows its proper operation when the pressure is variable or difficult to adjust, for example due to the absence of pressure gauges in the system, indispensable in filtration applications where the working pressure of the pump varies regularly.
Advantages
- Assembly is similar to conventional
bladder - Automatic regulation of working
pressure. - Not sensitive to changes in process
pressure. - Does not require the use of other
accessories such as back-pressure valves. - Can be manufactured in various
materials. - Improved possibility of use with liquids with suspended solids or viscous liquids with respect to bladder dampeners.
- High level of efficiency.
Disadvantages
- Requires connection to a compressed
air line - Consumption of compressed air.
- Available in few sizes.
- Price is slightly high..
