    The FLEXODAMP pulsation dampeners are characterised by their ‘in-line’ assembly, i.e. they are part of the discharge stroke at the pump outlet. In this case, the FDR version is characterised by being a rigid mount with metal housing. Its interior air pressure chamber must be adjusted according to the discharge pressure of the pump.

    Advantages

    Disavantages

    • Average level of efficiency.
    • Manual adjustment of working pressure.
    • Excessive adjustment of working pressure leads to other problems.
    • Can be manufactured in limited range of materials.
